PRECIPHIST formed in 1998 through a number of jam sessions with mutual friends. Founding members Tim and Tim decided to take it to the next level and created PRECIPHIST.

Playing parties, clubs and any gig they could find PRECIPHIST honed their sound into a unique blend of melodic metal with an edge effect. During that time a number of guitarists and drummers came and went. “We were lucky to have them all.”

PRECIPHIST has become a mainstay of the New Hampshire club circuit. Timmmy Rand’s powerfully unique voice, Tim Perin and Mike Woodside's thundering rhythm section, make for an exciting live show and a band that should soon be a household name in rock circles. Lou Festo's phenomenal talents as a guitar player ices this 4 layer cake

Some of PRECIPHISTS highlights include opening for RA, POPULATION ONE,  Joey Belladonna (ANTHRAX), HINDER, SAVING ABLE, and MY DARKEST DAYS. They also headlined THE POST ROAST in the summer of 2004 helping to raise over $14,000 for The Lahey Clinic cancer research; The Burlington MA "relay for life" (2008) raising 58,000; Walmart "raising the roof" for Children's Hospital (2007,2008,2009) raising over $10,000.

PRECIPHIST’s album “Press A Fist” was released on December 25, 2010 and is in stores near you and online. PRECIPHIST has ample PA, Lighting, and stage to accommodate large clubs as well as the intimate small rooms and outdoor events.                 TIME TO ROCK!

A Simple Complex

There's more to this band than a clever play on words. A Simple Complex has quickly begun making waves on the music scene, forging their own distinct heavy sound that makes them the ideal rock band; "Heavy enough for the mosh pit... Rock enough for the radio."

With a slew of unique but contemporary originals, A Simple Complex has gained a reputation for rocking clubs and amassing an ever-growing fan base. Their debut album Undo the Damage delivers in its promise to "bring back the days of heavy-laden guitar riffs and thought-inspiring lyrics" (source: Hippo Press).

A Simple Complex has performed with national acts Korn, Powerman 5000, Drowning Pool, The Misfits, Prong, Nonpoint and more, as well as local New England greats Dead Season, Prospect Hill, Mindset X and others. The music of A Simple Complex has been featured on 11 FM stations across America as well as several internet radio stations and podcasts including Keith and the Girl.

The band is ready to join the ranks of heavy hitters like Godsmack, Sevendust, Disturbed, Deftones, et al.

Please check out their website, Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter account for more info!
