Number 22 Margaret De Barraicua was a Sacramento, CA, intern teacher at McClatchy High School. She was arrested in February of 2005 after police found her in her car with a 16-year-old male student. Police first responded to the scene after receiving calls about a car parked behind an elementary school. The officer on the scene reported seeing steamed up windows and two people moving around inside. Her infant son was strapped into a safety seat at the rear of the car. De Barraicua eventually pleaded guilty to four felony counts of statutory rape in November of 2005, and was sentenced to one year in jail. Noting during her sentencing that De Barraicua had rejected the student's advances several times before giving in, Superior Court Judge Talmadge R. Jones still stated: "Her moral compass was broken. [She] violated a tremendous trust. If he was messed up before he is probably more messed by this offense."
Number 21 Carmina Lopez was a 32-year-old fifth-grade teacher at Sunnyslope Elementary School in Palm City, California. In January of 2009, she was arrested on charges of carrying on a four-year affair with a former student, which began when he was 11 and she was 28. The alleged affair first came to light when the boy received psychological counseling through Child Protective Services. While Lopez claims the boy is mentally disturbed, local police have said the evidence goes far beyond "he said, she said," and that multiple witnesses will back up the boy's claim. Lopez appeared in a pre-trial hearing in March of 2009, during which the boy testified that Lopez would buy gifts for him, but would make him have sexual intercourse with her before he could receive the gifts. As of this writing, Lopez is still awaiting trial.

Number 24 Samantha Solomon was a 29-year-old guidance counselor at the High School for Health Professions and Human Services. She was fired from the position after an internal probe by the New York City Department of Education discovered she had had a two-week affair with a 17-year old male student. According to documents obtained by the New York Daily News, Solomon began the relationship with shopping trips to Macy's and dinner at a Manhattan T.G.I. Friday's. She admitted to investigators that she had sexual intercourse with the student five times, including, as the Daily News puts it, "early morning trysts at her Manhattan apartment." Solomon was never charged by legal authorities, but was eventually fired from her position at the school. Also working at the same school as Solomon was Rhianna Ellis, #44 on our list, who had a 10-month affair and eventually bore the child of another 17-year-old student at the high school.
Number 23 Lisa Robyn Marinelli was a 40-year-old substitute teacher at Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, Florida. After a father saw his son stepping out of her car and zipping up his pants, an investigation was launched. She was charged in March of 2008 of having unlawful sex with a minor. Investigators said that Marinelli first became interested in the boy dating her 15-year-old daughter, saying he was "on the list" of potential boyfriends. Authorities also say that Marinelli gave the boy a pair of her underwear as a memento, and released several text messages Marinelli sent the boy, including "How about a quickie 2 morrow afternoon :-)" and "U can meet me at home at 3. Real men only need 20 min! We will be along cause there is a field trip." In April of 2008, Marinelli pleaded not guilty to all charges, which carried a maximum sentence of up to 15 years in prison. However, in September of 2008 Marinelli was compelled by the court to provide a DNA sample, and in April of 2009, she pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor. She was sentenced to a year of house arrest, and was required to register as a sex offender.

So some dirty snatch on Facebook reported us because of this picture I posted up on our page. I mean really have a sense of humor. I didn't think the picture was offensive, but maybe I'm not the best judge to determine such things. Either way a big F U goes out to her and her efforts to stifle the 1st amendment.

Number 26 Sarah Tolzien was an English teacher and varsity track coach at Rich South High School in the Chicago suburb of Richton Park. She was arrested in March of 2009 for criminal sexual assault after she was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student she coached. Authorities say the two sexual encounters occurred when Tolzien gave the boy a ride home after cross-country practice. The student's parents reported the affair after discovering sexually-oriented text messages from Tolzien on their son's cell phone. In April of 2009, she pleaded not guilty to eight counts of criminal sexual assault and 24 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. As of this writing, she is currently free on bail.
Number 25 Jennifer Lee Burton was a 39-year-old physical education teacher at Orangefield Junior High School. She turned herself into authorities in April of 2009 after being accused of having a three-month relationship with a 14-year-old female student between September and November of 2008. Burton, who is herself a graduate of Orangefield Junior High, had been teaching at the school since 2003, but was put on leave at the end of March, 2009, when authorities began investigating the case. She resigned shortly after her arrest. A grand jury has indicted her on three counts of felony sexual assault and three counts of improper relationship between an educator and a student. Felony sexual assault is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. As of this writing, Burton is awaiting trial.
